SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the process of enhancing a website to better the chances of it ranking highly in the search engines organically. By organic, we mean without paying for web traffic. Within SEO, there’s a wide variety of strategies to accomplish the aforementioned goals.
This could be anything from developing website content around keywords related to your industry to maintaining a strong presence across multiple social media platforms. SEO practices and strategies are constantly changing to remain effective as internet search engines continuously update algorithms.
To answer this question depends greatly on where you are today, what SEO has been done before, and what your competition levels are like. As a general rule of thumb, most websites on page 2 can be brought to the first page inside 3 months. As for a brand new website, you’re looking closer to 6+ months to get good first page rankings on competitive keywords.
SEO is Essential to Your Website’s Success consumers today live in a digital world. According to Accenture, an estimated 94% of B2B buyers say that they search online before making a purchase.
Brands that do not take the initiative to leverage and understand the importance of SEO will be left behind and miss out on a great deal of value they could be adding to their business.
Know that no one can guarantee you to rank #1 on Google. While many SEO companies guarantee a number-one ranking, Google ultimately makes that decision, and no SEO company has a special relationship with Google. Again, the relationship between a guarantee for top rankings and shady SEO companies is strong enough that Google recommends running away.

With Static Websites, the individual web pages are shown to the user as they are stored. In the case of the CLT website, we use a so-called Static Site Generator to build these static pages. Simply put, the static site generator is a program that converts source files into web pages. These source files are templates that are enriched with data by the static site generator. This data can be retrieved through an API from a third party during this process if necessary.
Dynamic Sites use server side languages to process requests at the time it’s made and generate a page and its contents in real-time. This means that dynamic websites interact with the user accessing the site and render content depending on the user’s actions or settings. One example of a dynamic website is web apps. Take Twitter as an example: when you log in, it displays content just for you.
Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) and Responsive Web Design (RWD) both use the same basic building blocks for creating a mobile page: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. So how are they different? Let’s take a look at AMP vs a responsive mobile website. AMP stands for Accelerated Mobile Page. It’s an open-source initiative and format by Google with the aim to speed up the web experience for mobile users. AMP pages are essentially stripped down versions of pages which are optimized to load fast on mobile devices.
Responsive Web Design (RWD) was introduced in early 2010. Before RWD was introduced, web designers were creating multiple versions of a website based on different devices. That was a costly process for maintenance, upgrade, and change. RWD includes fluid layouts, flexible images, and media queries. RWD helps a web page that can fit any device. RWD is focused on flexibility.
In short, AMP provides speed, and RWD delivers flexibility.
Our standard timeline is 4-8 weeks to complete a website but this depends on the project since the size and pace of any project is set by each client. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your feedback, how soon the content is provided – all this affects the speed of completion. The functionality and revisions required will also play a role in your timeline.
